It's Day One!

Hi all,

Welcome to Day 1 of the Delphi Labs Cosmos Hackathon. We’re incredibly excited to work with hungry builders looking to build the next generation of revolutionary crypto projects. Below are some reminders and tips to keep in mind throughout the program.

Hackathon Phases:

  1. The first phase of our Hackathon kicked off today. This is the initial submission period. Teams have one week to share materials demonstrating their project vision. This can be some combination of:

    1. Text description of project

    2. Supplementary video introducing ideas, team introductions, MVP demo if applicable, etc.

    3. Link to project’s code repository

    4. Any supplementary materials such as documentation, pitch deck, etc.

  2. After this initial week (ending May 8th), we’ll work with our ecosystem partners to determine our list of hackathon finalists. The identified hackathon finalists will receive feedback around their idea and submission from Delphi Labs and/or their respective ecosystem they’re building on.

  3. We’ll announce hackathon finalists by May 16th and move into a 2 week heads down building period where teams will be able to refine and expand their submission based on their initial feedback. The final submissions will be used for prize selection and judging.

  4. All hackathon finalists will also be considered for a spot in the upcoming Delphi Labs Accelerator cohort. (Learn more at delphilabs.io/accelerator)

Participants Looking for a Team:

  1. Keep in mind that if you are looking for a team, our Devpost site allows you to look through other hackathon participants who are also looking for a team under the Participants tab. We suggest checking this out ASAP and finding potential teammates under the skills/roles you are looking for.

  2. If looking for a team, we suggest posting a discussion topic under the Discussions tab where you can introduce yourself and share details on what you’re looking to build.

  3. Participants are also welcome to join our Telegram community (link here) and network with other participants there.

General Reminders:

  1. If you have not already, be sure to join our hackathon Telegram group here

  2. If you are still thinking about what to build, check out our Request for Protocol document to get started on potential ideas here

  3. Be sure to follow the Delphi Labs Twitter @delphi_labs to stay updated on everything happening at Delphi Labs

  4. Feel free to reach out to @RaviDelphiLabs on Telegram with any questions regarding the hackathon or Delphi Labs Accelerator

We’re looking forward to the first round of submissions, best of luck!
